1 Person Dies In 2-Vehicle Accident In Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) -- One person is dead following a two-vehicle accident in Wilmington on Thursday morning.

The Wilmington Fire Department says a box truck and an SUV collided around 11:40 a.m. at 500 South Market Street.

One person died, and another person was airlifted to Christiana Hospital in Newark.

Hazmat crews responded to the scene after 70 gallons of diesel fuel spilled onto the road.
