DA: Woman Accused Of Injecting Teens With Heroin

COATESVILLE, Pa. (CBS) — A woman is accused of injecting two teens, including her daughter, with heroin, according to the Chester County District Attorney's office.

The District Attorney's office announced the arrest of Jessica Lynn Riffey, 34, of West Caln Township, on Monday.

According to authorities, Riffey is accused of supplying a 14-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy with heroin, and injected them on multiple occasions in September.

"Supplying anyone with heroin is a potential death sentence. Injecting children, including your own daughter, with heroin demonstrates a depravity that defies belief," said Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan in a press release.

Authorities say Riffey has been charged with endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors, drug delivery, and related charges.

Riffey was committed to Chester County Prison in lieu of $50,000 cash bail, according to authorities.
