Bucks County Teacher Allegedly Exchanged Sexually Explicit Photos, Videos With Teen Student
PERKASIE, Pa. (CBS) -- A math teacher at a Bucks County middle school is accused of exchanging sexually explicit photos and videos with a 14-year-old female student.
Authorities say Joseph Becker, a teacher at Pennridge North Middle School, allegedly began the sexual communication with the student in July 2015 and it lasted until November.
The Bucks County District Attorney's office says Becker is facing sexual abuse of children, corruption of minors and unlawful contact with a minor charges.
Becker will be arraigned Friday afternoon in Warrington, Pennsylvania.
The Pennridge School District released the following statement on the investigation: 'Early this morning, we were made aware of the fact that police were investigating a situation regarding a Pennridge School District employee. Since the investigation is still underway, we are not at liberty to comment further at this time. We will cooperate fully with the authorities.'
