Crews Work To Repair Water Main Break In West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Crews are working to repair a water main break that is impacting dozens of properties in West Philadelphia.

Officials say a 12-inch main broke shortly before 7 a.m. Sunday at 61st and Havertown Streets.

Water has been turned off to 50 properties in the neighborhood, including ten commercial buildings and one church.

The Philadelphia Water Department says it expects to restore service by the evening.
