Crews Work To Repair Water Main Break In East Whiteland Township

EAST WHITELAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) -- Crews were working to repair a water main break in East Whiteland Township, Chester County.

Water was spilling out on Swedesford Road in Malvern and was closed to traffic between Church Road and Phoenixville Pike as a result.

Officials said it was not a huge water main break, but there was some concern about the freezing temperatures causing the water to turn into ice.

There was no timetable on when the road would reopen.
