Crews Responding To Reported Gas Leak In Lower Merion Twp.

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Authorities say crews responded to reports of a gas leak at restaurant in Lower Merion Township.

The gas odor was reported around 9:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at 7 East Lancaster Avenue.

Authorities say the source of the gas odor was from a burner that was left on in the restaurant.

The fire department and PECO turned off the burner and vented the building.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
