Crews Rescue Women From Schuylkill, Then Delaware River In Separate Incidents

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Crews rescued a woman from the Schuylkill River Thursday morning, then pulled another woman out of the Delaware River a short time later.

Police and fire crews were first called out to the Schuylkill River around 8 a.m. A woman who somehow wound up in the river was rescued successfully. She was not injured.

About 20 minutes later, police and fire crews, along with the Marine Unit, were called to the Delaware River near Market Street where another woman was spotted. Crews successfully pulled her out too, without injuries.
