Crews Rescue 9 Children, School Bus Driver From Flood Waters In Delaware

BRANDYWINE HUNDRED, Del., (CBS) -- Rescue crews pulled a school bus driver and nine children from a school bus that got stuck in flood waters in Delaware on Wednesday.

It happened on Governor Printz Boulevard near Edgemoor Road in Brandywine Hundred, New Castle County.

CBS 3 is told the students on the bus were from Moyer Academy in Wilmington.

No one was seriously injured in the incident.

The bus driver, who works for Advance Bus Company, has been issued a traffic summons for careless driving.

School representatives say that driver will no longer be transporting children for their school.
