Crews Battle House Fire In Gloucester County

GLASSBORO, N.J., (CBS) – Crews battled a house fire in Glassboro, Gloucester County.

Officials say the fire was reported around 8:20 p.m. Friday at the 600 block of Heston Road.

CBS 3 Eyewitness News is told a mother in her eighties and her daughter were inside the house at the time the fire broke out.

A neighbor says he called police immediately when he saw the flames.

"I really can't give words, I'm lost for words at this moment. It's tragic, I desperately feel for the family at this moment," said neighbor Anthony Lemmo.

Eyewitness News is told the two women were treated for smoke inhalation on scene.

No other injuries were reported.

Fire investigators are still working to find the cause of the fire.
