Crews Battle Basement Fire in Deptford
DEPTFORD, N.J. (CBS) -- Firefighters in Gloucester County, N.J. are battling a residential fire at this hour.
Officials responded to a call at 9:35 pm Monday about a basement fire located at 1151 Lexington Drive in Deptford.
They say a man and woman were inside at the home at the time. The woman was taken for observation.
Two firefighters who entered the burning home were forced out due to the smoky conditions inside, but luckily neither was injured.
There's no word on a cause for the fire at this time.
