Westbound Vine Street Expressway Reopens Following Crash

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The westbound Vine Street Expressway has reopened to traffic after all lanes were shut down due to an overturned dump truck.

The accident happened just before 5 a.m. Wednesday.

The driver of the truck was injured when his vehicle rolled over on I-676 near 22nd Street in Center City. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

All westbound lanes were blocked between the Ben Franklin Parkway and the Schuylkill Expressway eastbound.

The westbound lanes reopened to traffic around 11:30 a.m.

Motorists should expect residual delays.
