Crash Temporarily Shuts Down Heavily-Traveled Road In Montgomery County

UPPER GWYNEDD, Pa. (CBS) -- A car crash temporarily shut down a heavily-traveled road in Montgomery County.

The crash happened at about 1:25 p.m. in the 200 block of Township Line Road near Swedesford Road in Upper Gwynedd.

According to investigators, the crash involved at least one car and two people were reportedly trapped.

According to the Montgomery County fire department, two people have been transported to Abington Hospital.

Their conditions are unknown at this time.

As a result of the crash, Township Line Road at Swedesford was closed for some time while police investigated and crews cleaned-up the scene.

The roads were cleared around 2:40 p.m.

The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
