Crash On Pa. Turnpike Shuts Down Northbound Lanes

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A crash involving a tractor trailer has shut down part of the Northeast Extension, leaving one of the drivers trapped for an hour.

The crash happened in the northbound lanes between the Lansdale and Quakertown exits in Milford.

The box truck was carrying theater seats and much of that truck appeared to be crushed.

The driver was eventually freed and transported to a hospital. There is no word on his condition.

The turnpike's northbound lanes still remain closed between Lansdale and Quakertown.
