5 Injured After Multi-Vehicle Crash On I-476 SB In Delco

SPRINGFIELD, Pa. (CBS) – At least five people were injured following a multi-vehicle accident on I-476 this afternoon in Delaware County.
Chopper 3 was over I-476 southbound around 3 p.m. in Delaware County where all lanes were shut down due to the collision.
Authorities tell CBS3 one person was transported by air and four others were transported by ground to an area hospital. The severity of their injuries are unknown at this time.

State police are investigating what caused the crash.
