COVID In New Jersey: State Gives Out Nearly 1.5 Million Vaccine Doses

TRENTON, N.J. (CBS) -- New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy says the state has given out nearly 1.5 million COVID-19 vaccine doses. However, he says that does not mean things will quickly move back to normal.

Murphy said more contagious variants are a concern.

"I don't see in the near future, maybe the foreseeable future, I do not see a step that we'll take that will lift mask mandates indoors. That's not in the cards anytime soon," Murphy said.
