COVID-19 Vaccination Site At Pennsylvania Convention Center To Only Administer Second Doses For Next 3 Weeks

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia's mass vaccination site at the Pennsylvania Convention Center will be administering only second doses for the next three weeks. Officials from FEMA - who operate the site - say second doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be the sole focus there.

No walk-ups will receive the vaccine.

FEMA says they hope to administer the Johnson & Johnson one-dose vaccine in the coming weeks, but the timing on that is still unclear.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia's sixth mass COVID-19 vaccination clinic is now open in South Philadelphia. It's located at the Edward O'Malley Athletic Association.
