Corvette Destroyed, Home Damaged In Montgomery County Fire

LOWER MORELAND, Pa. (CBS) -- Two cars, including a Corvette, were destroyed during a fire that damaged a home in Montgomery County Wednesday morning.

The fire started at about 4 a.m. at a home in the 3400 block of Manor Road in Lower Moreland.

According to fire officials, the fire started in a garage and destroyed a Corvette and BMW. The fire eventually spread to the home, causing damage to the dwelling.

All of the residents inside the home were able to safely get out. There were no reports of any injuries.

The fire was placed under control at about 5:30 a.m.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
