Coroner: Man, Woman Found Shot Dead In Allentown Home

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) — An eastern Pennsylvania coroner says a man and woman have been found shot to death in an Allentown home.

The Lehigh County coroner's office said the 21-year-old man and 32-year-old woman were pronounced dead at about 5 a.m. Sunday.

Coroner Scott Grim said both were killed by gunshot wounds, and he ruled the manner of death homicide for both.

Grim said the gunfire occurred about an hour earlier, just before 4 a.m. Sunday.

He said city police and his office are investigating with the assistance of the county district attorney.

The names of the victims aren't being released pending positive identification and notification of relatives.
