Cops: Woman Dies After Being Stabbed Multiple Times In Face And Neck

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a 25-year-old Fox Chase woman is dead after being stabbed by her boyfriend.

Philadelphia Police were called to the home near the intersection of Solly Avenue and Ferndale Street around noon Monday.

Police say the woman was stabbed a number of times in the face and neck. She was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.

Police say the suspect was arrested at the scene and a murder weapon was recovered.

The names of the victim and suspect are not being released at this time.
