Cops: Trio Tie Victim To Chair, Ransack Home In Armed Robbery In Sea Isle City

SEA ISLE CITY, NJ (CBS) – Police are investigating an armed robbery in Sea Isle City.

Authorities say on Thursday, July 21, police responded to a residence on the 300 block of 47th place for the report of a robbery.

Upon arrival, officers learned that the suspects, described as a black female and two masked males, produced a handgun and tied the victim to a chair in the garage.

While the victim was tied up, police say the trio ransacked the home.

When the suspects entered an upstairs bedroom, police say they were confronted by the victim's father and they fled the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
