Cops: Man Threatens Wawa Worker: 'Do What I Say Or I'll Blow Your Head Off'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – An armed suspect robbed a Wawa in Northeast Philadelphia early Monday morning, police say.

The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. at the Wawa store on the 4500 block of Castor Avenue.

Authorities say the suspect approached a 42-year-old employee, showed a hangun in his waist band, and demanded money from the cash register stating, "Do what I say or I will blow your head off."

After placing an unknown amount of money inside of a bag, police say the suspect fled the scene.

Authorities describe the suspect as a black male, 20-years-old, 6'0", 240 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and tan
boots.
