Cops: Man Steals Nearly $300 Worth Of Lottery Tickets From Philly Convenience Store

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for a man they say stole nearly $300 worth of lottery tickets from a machine in Port Richmond.

Authorities say on May 6, the suspect entered a Wawa store on the 3200 block of Richmond Street.

Once inside, police say the man began tampering with the lottery machine, removing several tickets valued at an estimated $270.

Authorities say the suspect then fled the scene without paying.

Police are looking for a white male, about 20-years-old, medium build, with several tattoos. He was wearing a gray shirt, dark shorts and black and white sneakers.
