Man Allegedly Steals Golf Cart, Truck From Delaware Golf Course

LONG NECK, Del. (CBS) – A 26-year-old man is wanted by police after he allegedly stole a golf cart from a person playing golf, then proceeded to steal the victim's truck.

Authorities say on June 27 around 11:15 a.m., Nathan E. Lewandowski allegedly stole a cart from a golfer at Baywood Greens.

He then allegedly drove the stolen golf cart off of the course and into the parking lot, where police say he removed a set of keys from the storage compartment.

He allegedly located the victim's vehicle by using the key fob, then entered the truck and drove away.

Police say the truck has since been located in Camden, New Jersey.

Authorities say Lewandowski may still be in that area.

Lewandowski is also wanted for possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, aggravated menacing, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, burglary, theft and offensive touching from three other incidents, police say.

Officials say he has a last known address of Millsboro, but is possibly homeless.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the authorities.
