Cops: Grandmother Charged With Murder Of 3-Year-Old Grandson

FELTON, Del. (CBS) – A Delaware woman is charged with the murder of her 3-year-old grandson.

Police say Angela Bingham, 51, called 911 to confess to the murder and report that she wished to harm herself.

Paramedics and troopers found the boy's body in a state of decomposition in her Felton home.

Authorities say Bingham was taken into custody and charged with first degree murder.

She is currently being held without bail.

Authorities identified the victim as Rilan M. Everett. They will be conducting an autopsy to determine his cause of death.

Detectives say the investigation is ongoing.
