Cops: Elderly PA Man Stops, Randomly Tickles Child

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (AP) — Police in one central Pennsylvania town were looking for an older man who stopped his car and approached a group of children before tickling one and driving away.

Police say the odd incident happened Saturday about 1:20 p.m. in Mechanicsburg.

Police say the man was driving an SUV when he approached the children who were playing outside in the yard. The kids tell police the man was in his 70s and had Boston Red Sox sun visor in his vehicle, along with what the children described as a "crazy" red wig, which the man showed them.

Police say the man showed the children pictures of his grandchildren and said he "loved" kids before getting back in his vehicle and driving away.

Police are calling the behavior "suspicious" but have stopped short of calling it a crime.
