PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Authorities say a four-year-old boy suffered minor injuries after he was struck by a police vehicle in Philadelphia's Mayfair neighborhood.

It happened just before 8 p.m. Friday in the 6300 block of Leonard Street.

Police say a police cruiser was slowly passing a double parked car when a 4-year-old boy darted out from between two parked cars and ran into the driver's side front fender.
