Cops: Arrest Made In Port Richmond Hit-Run

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say an arrest has been made in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in Port Richmond.

Authorities say 36-year-old Thomas Dunbar died after he was struck by vehicle at the intersection of Aramingo and Lehigh Avenues Wednesday night.

Police say Ramon M. Morales allegedly struck Dunbar and dragged him more than 200 feet before fleeing the scene.

Authorities located the striking vehicle about two hours after the incident.

On Thursday, Morales was taken into custody and charged with murder, accident involving death, homicide by vehicle and involuntary manslaughter.
