Cops: Argument Inside Center City Diner Leads To Triple Stabbing

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say an argument led to the stabbing of three men inside a Center City diner early Monday morning.

The incident happened at about 12:30 a.m. at the Midtown II Restaurant in the 100 block of S. 11th Street near Sansom Street.

According to investigators, three men became involved in an argument with another man, who pulled out a knife and stabbed the three men.

A 26-year-old was stabbed in the hand, a 27-year-old man was stabbed in the arm and a 51-year-od man was stabbed in the chest and hand.

After stabbing the three men, the suspect ran out of the restaurant and remains on the loose.

The three victims went to Philadelphia Mercy Hospital where they are all listed in stable condition.

So far, no arrests have been made. Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to contact police.

The stabbing remains under investigation.
