Offensive Coordinator Calls Sam Bradford 'The Ultimate Tease'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Sam Bradford was ranked as the NFL's fifth worst starting quarterback.

Mike Sando of ESPN.com ranked all of the starting QB's by tiers and spoke with NFL coaches and executives about each player. Bradford did not get strong reviews from the coaches Sando spoke with.

"An offensive coordinator called Bradford the ultimate tease as a highly skilled player who can appear rattled and does not deliver ultimately," Sando wrote.

Another quarterback's coach called him soft.

"I think he is a little [soft], which came out the way he handled his business to begin with this offseason," the QB coach told Sando. "I just don't see the decision-making, consistent accuracy and the fortitude that [makes me think] we have a shot to win every Sunday. With Doug Pederson coaching, I would take Alex Smith over Bradford, but it's the same kind of situation."

Bradford, 28, is entering his sixth NFL season and second with the Eagles after being selected as the No. 1 overall pick of the St. Louis Rams in 2010.

Ex-Eagles quarterback Mark Sanchez is expected to being the starter for the Denver Broncos this season. Sando ranked him behind Bradford at No. 31 on his list ahead of just Robert Griffin III and Case Keenum.
