Connor Barwin Representing Eagles For NFL Man Of The Year Award

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Connor Barwin is the Eagles' nomination for the prestigious Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award. The award, presented by Nationwide, honors a current NFL player for outstanding community service activities and excellence on the field.

Each NFL team nominates one player. The winner will be picked by the panel of judges: Commissioner Roger Goodell, former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue, Sports Illustrated writer Peter King, Connie Payton, Frank Gifford, Anthony Muñoz and the 2013 winner, Charles Tillman.

The winner of the award will receive $50,000 in his name to a charity of his choice, from the NFL Foundation and Nationwide. Every nominee will receive at least $1,000 from the NFL Foundation to their charity of choice.
