Search Crews Recover Body From Christina River In Delaware

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) -- Eyewitness News has learned search crews have recovered a body from the Christina River in Delaware.

Officials say agencies will begin the process of identification.

Crews were searching for a man who went missing in the Christina River near the Port of Wilmington.

Twenty-five-year-old Emanuel Gatling was reported missing after a crane barge capsized Tuesday night.

The Coast Guard says an employee reported three crewmembers fell into the water. The barge was attached to the dredge Essex.

The Coast Guard says two of the men resurfaced from the water.

Three 25-foot Response Boat-Small crews from Coast Guard Station Philadelphia and local fireboat crews helped in the search for Gatling.
