Body Of Missing Point Pleasant Beach Swimmer Found

POINT PLEASANT, N.J. (CBS)-- The body of a 24-year-old woman who went missing in the ocean off Point Pleasant has been recovered.

Zuzana Orav-Cova, 24, of Slovakia, was found on the beach in Toms River just before midnight.

The Coast Guard launched a 47-foot Motor Lifeboat crew from Station Manasquan Inlet and an MH-65 Dolphin aircrew from Air Station Atlantic City to search for the missing swimmer.

She went swimming with a male companion in Point Pleasant around 2 a.m. Sunday morning.

The Coast Guard says both the woman and her friend struggled in the rough surf.

No foul play is suspected.
