'Cinderella' To Enchant Theater-goers At The Kimmel Center

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – "Cinderella" is coming to Philadelphia, and Frances Egler, Director of Broadway Philadelphia Programming and Co-presentation at the Kimmel Center, reviews the show.

"It's a great show; it's the Rodgers and Hammerstein score that was originally written for television with Julie Andrews and then Lesley Ann Warren years and years ago. It's the first time the entire score is being performed, and what's fun also about it is that they have updated the book a bit.

The schedule for "Cinderella" accommodates families, Egler explains.

"Again, we have matinees Friday, Saturday and Sunday, which is nice. So the day after Thanksgiving, we don't have shows Thanksgiving night; we do have shows that Friday. So it's something that is fun to do if you are coming to Center City for shopping or for anything."
