Chris Stigall Responds To VA Secretary Comparing Wait Times To Disney

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Chris Stigall criticized Robert McDonald, the Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs, on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT for comparing patient wait times favorably to the lines at Disney.

Stigall said patient outcomes would be a lot more positive if Disney was actually in charge of the Department.

"You can't measure the satisfaction of someone when they're dead. It's idiotic. Yes, I can go find veterans who say, it wasn't so bad...That's not what's in question. There are at least six offices, including one here in Philadelphia, people died because file were, literally, just being shredded and thrown away. I'd rather have Disney running the VA. Mickey Mouse is always termed as negative. I'll tell you something, Disney runs with more efficacy than government agency I know."

He stated Disney is far and away the superior entity that McDonald has no right to even mention them in comparison to the scandal happening inside his agency.

"Our government is so poorly run and mismanaged and for any jackass, like the VA Secretary, to liken it to private enterprise in this country, particularly Disney, the studs of customer service, what a joke."
