Child Taken To Hospital Following Crash In Delaware

NEWARK, Del. (CBS) -- A child has been transported to the hospital after a serious crash in Newark, Delaware, on Friday.

Police say two vehicles crashed in the 1100 block of South College Avenue, just after 11:30 a.m.

A child was taken to Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. The child's condition is not known.

Officials have closed both sides of South College Avenue between I-95 and Christina Parkway-Route 4.
