Chester County School Evacuated After Contractors Strike Gas Line

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) -- A school in Chester County had to be evacuated on Monday after contractors struck a gas line, according to officials. Crews were called to the Woodlynde School in Tredyffrin Township around 1:15 p.m Monday.

All students and staff members were evacuated as a precaution.

PECO has secured the gas leak.

There are no reports of injuries.
