Chester County Woman Accused Of Having Inappropriate Relationship With 16-Year-Old Student

WEST WHITELAND Twp., Pa. (CBS) -- Police in West Whiteland Township have charged a woman following an investigation into allegations that she had an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Police say 35-year-old Sarah O'Neill, of Coatesville, has been charged with four counts of Corruption on Minors.

Officials say the charges stem from an investigation into allegations that O'Neill had an inappropriate relationship with a student at Church Farm School where she was a teacher.

According to police, the investigation found that the relationship began in January 2014 when the student was 16-years-old and she was his teacher.

Authorities say during the 10-month relationship, O'Neill was allegedly romantically involved with the student and the incidents allegedly occurred on four occasions in her vehicle and at local hotels.

A preliminary hearing for O'Neill is scheduled for February 2.
