Lockdown At Cherry Hill Middle School Lifted Following Anonymous Threat

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (CBS)—A middle school in Cherry Hill was on lockdown Wednesday due to an anonymous threat.

The apparent threat was made against the Henry C. Beck Middle School just before 11 a.m.

The lockdown was lifted around 2 p.m. as authorities said the threat was unfounded.

"The safety of our students and staff is our top priority," said Sidney Dawson, Principal of the Henry C. Beck Middle School.

The school dismissed at its normal time.
