PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - What does Tia Mowry have to tell us in 140 characters?

Tia Mowry, half of the twinsies in the 1990s show Sister Sister, has a reminder for us on her twitter feed. Mowry has filed a lawsuit against her manager who failed to pay her on what should have been over $100,000 for the sponsored tweets she was paid by advertisers to make.

By some estimates, Kim Kardashian, queen of self promotion, makes up to $10,000 A DAY just on sponsored tweets. When you sign up for a celebrity's twitter feed you think that you're the first to hear the important gossip in their life. In fact, you've actually just signed up for a stream of advertising disguised as a look into your favorite celeb's innermost thoughts - and though they're waaaayyy shorter than infomercials, they are commercials nonetheless.

The Federal Trade Commission requires celebs to tell you that they aren't just consumers who happen to love a product but are, in fact, paid to tweet about it, but sister, sister you need to ask 'why why are you telling me this this?' before buying whatever it is a celeb is hyping.
