CBS Developing New CIA Drama "Family Business"

Philadelphia (CW Philly) -- With the fall season of television nearing, we're getting more and more news of shows in development.

CBS is in the process of developing a new drama series from Barbara Hall and former CBS Entertainment president Glenn Geller, Variety reports.

The current title of the project is "Family Business," which would follow a multi-generational CIA spy family, told through the eyes of the youngest generation. The story centers around three adult siblings who all struggle with rivalry, secrets, and making their mark in the intelligence community, while trying to separate themselves from their parents.
Barbara Hall will serve as an executive producer and writer on the project, with Geller also being an executive producer.

Hall has a good partnership with CBS, having created multiple projects with the network such as "Madam Secretary," which is going into its fourth season with CBS; "Judging Amy," which ran for six seasons and 138 episodes on CBS; and "Joan of Arcadia," which also aired on CBS for two seasons. She has written for and produced other shows as well including "Homeland," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "Army Wives," and "Northern Exposure."

With "Family Business" in development, this just adds to the growing listen of shows that CBS has in store for its audience. The network is giving its viewers a variety of shows, looking to make something for everyone.
