Car Veers Off Roadway Into Water In Ridley Township

RIDLEY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) – Chopper 3 was over the scene of a water rescue on Monday.

A vehicle reportedly went off the roadway near Route 291 and Stewart Avenue in Ridley Township, Delaware County around 2 p.m.

One person was able to get out of the vehicle safely.

Ridley Township Police responded to the accident and towed the vehicle out of the water not far from the Boeing plant.
