Car Hops Curb, Strikes Woman, Driver Flees In North Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia police are questioning a driver after a hit-and-run on Temple's Main Campus early Friday morning.

Authorities say a woman waiting for the bus was struck by a car that hopped the curb near Broad and Norris Streets around 2:30 a.m.

The driver kept going after the accident and was stopped by police a short time later.

The victim was taken to the hospital with multiple leg fractures.

Accident investigators are working to determine what caused the accident. Neither the victim nor the driver have been identified.
