Car Fire Shuts Down Lanes On Ben Franklin Bridge Into Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Around 2:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon a minivan caught fire on the Ben Franklin Bridge. The fire took place on the lanes entering Philadelphia.

The fire closed all lanes into Philadelphia and left open two lanes going into New Jersey.

The Delaware River Port Authority announced just after 4:20 p.m. that all lanes were reopened (three lanes going into Pennsylvania and four going into New Jersey).

The fire has been put out. One person was transported from the scene for a medical issue.
