Camden Man Faces Murder Charge In Stabbing At Mobile Home Park

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) — A man accused of fatally stabbing an acquaintance at a southern New Jersey mobile home park last summer has been charged with murder.

Atlantic County prosecutors say 49-year-old Richard Ferrara, of Camden, was living in the victim's unit when the stabbing occurred Aug. 14 in Hamilton Township. But they haven't said what spurred the attack.

Ferrara is charged in the death of 41-year-old William Strock. He was stabbed in the torso and was taken to a hospital, where he died several hours later.

Ferrara was served with the murder charge Thursday at the county jail, where he's being held on an unrelated matter. His bail was set at $1 million cash.

If convicted, Ferrara could face a life sentence. It wasn't known Saturday if he has retained an attorney.
