Camden County High School Coach Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Player

GLOUCESTER CITY, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a southern New Jersey softball coach is facing sexual assault charges for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old player.

Camden County prosecutors charged David Light on Tuesday with four counts of second-degree sexual assault and fourth-degree criminal sexual contact.

The 33-year-old Gloucester City resident is accused of having a sexual relationship with the girl from May 2008 to December 2008 while serving as her coach. He was also a substitute teacher at Gloucester City High School.

His bail is set at $200,000.

It is not known if Light has a lawyer.
