He says he has never before seen such a buying frenzy of university gear before a Temple football game.

"They are buying literally everything."

Student Julia Cruser says Saturday night's match up against Notre Dame is a big one.

"Just want to make sure that I'm completely decked out for this game," says Cruser. "This is huge for us. This is the first time that we've been 7 and 0 in our program history, this is the first time that we've been ranked in a really long time and I just want to make sure that I have everything I need to be a total Owl on Saturday."

Sophomore Brendan Mason's arms were filled with merchandise he was looking to buy, mainly T-shirts.

"Well my mom's going to be pretty mad, but I guess as long as I keep it under $100 I should be ok."
