Burlington County Teacher Arrested For Possessing Child Pornography

MOUNT HOLLY, N.J., (CBS) -- Evesham Township Police and the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office announced the arrest of high school teacher David Rodriguez for the possession of child pornography.

Rodriguez, 52, was charged with endangering the welfare of children. Officials say the case will be presented to a grand jury to determine whether an indictment should be returned against Rodriguez.

Rodriguez is a biology teacher at Cumberland Regional High School in Bridgeton.

Authorities say that their investigation showed that Rodriguez used an online cloud service to upload materials showing child pornography.

Rodriguez's first appearance in Superior Court is scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
