Several Residents Displaced After Germantown House Collapse

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Several people have been displaced after a house collapse in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood.

It happened early Thursday morning at the 5100 block of Marion Street.

While some residents were inside the home at the time, no one was injured.

"And we just heard a boom, boom and next thing you know, it just all came down," said Aaron.

"I caught the ceiling," he said.

"He caught the ceiling and I was holding it up and then he said, 'come on, let's get out.' Thank God we're out of there and not hurt," said Lisa.

The American Red Cross is assisting nine people.

City agencies are looking into what caused the building to collapse.
