PENNDEL, Pa. (CBS) -- Police in Penndel Borough (Bucks County) have arrested a doctor on charges of owning and distributing child pornography.

Penndel Borough police chief Joe Sciscio says the investigation began through an undercover operation into child pornography on the Internet.  That led to the arrest of 36-year-old physician Quentin Parker of Bristol Township.

"Through the investigation, at the beginning of April we were able to download several videos and images of prepubescent female children engaged in sex acts from a computer at Mister Parker's residence," Chief Sciscio says.

On Thursday, a search warrant was executed at Parker's home on Dark Leaf Lane.

The charges against Parker include dissemination and possession of child pornography and criminal use of a communications device.

He was being held in the Bucks County Prison in lieu of ten percent cash of $150,000 bail.

Parker worked at three area hospitals: Aria, at its Bucks County and Torresdale campuses; and Hahnemann University Hospital.
