Forest Fire Burns In Burlington County

WOODLAND TOWNSHIP, N.J., (CBS) – A forest fire continues to burn in Woodland Township, Burlington County.

The fire was reported Monday near Woodmansie Road, north of Route 72.

The fire has reportedly burned over the county line into Ocean County.

Officials say current containment lines are expected to hold the fire under 1,000 acres.

The fire was reportedly 50 percent contained at 10:20 p.m.

Fire crews are working through the night.

There is no word on what caused the fire or if there are any injuries.
